The Great Cosmic Running Joke

We're in Seattle today, and I needed to exchange my camera, cause it's been acting funny. So I was going to take a cab. It was kinda far though, and instead of paying $20 each way, I found out that there was a public bus I could take for $1.25 both ways. Sounded good to me.

And then this happened:

I'm thinking I might need some medical attention at this point. Everybody else on the bus was fine, but I was the only one who literally flew out of my seat and rolled up the aisle...probably looked hilarious, but it's not so funny now.

Still though, I'd take that over this ----anyday.

  1. Wow! That is a story to tell, and you have that video! Hope you get better!

  2. You poor thing! That is so scary and yet you have the ability to record your reaction just after this happened, yet again. Don't take this the wrong way - I certainly hope none of these scary accidents happen to you ever again, but you seem the man to have around when they do because you don't lose it like most people would!!

I hope your back is just a strain and nothing serious. I was rear-ended hard on I-80 by some nut not paying attention once and though my car had but a scratch and hers was sandwiched up, my back ached for a few weeks. :( Stay safe...

  3. I can't lie -- I definitely probably may have laughed at the way you told that story.

Also, that sucks. I am glad you are okay.

  4. Thanks, Luis! I'm already feeling a bit better, and it's only been a few days.

Anglochy and Emily: It's nice to know that you appreciate my sense of humor. Yeah, there are very few things that a little sarcasm can't help you through. :)

  6. How bizarre that this is giving me a Blogger name that I apparently used once, somewhere! I didn't even realise it. Anyhow, my back recovered after a few weeks thankfully - hope you're feeling back to normal by now as well!
