Favorite Albums?

I'm compiling a list of my favorite albums of all time: the ones I can listen to any time, all the time, forever.

And I'm wondering -- what are yours?

  6. Mike Schmid: The High Cost of Living--Pop perfection, beautiful, poetic, haunting, sad, triumphant.

    The Awakening Compilation Vol 1--My ears were baptised

    Jason Harwell: Alive in the Fall--the official soundtrack for growing up

    Billy Cerveny: Am Radio--smoky, gritty, raw, the reason I started writing songs

    Kenji Ito: Seiken Denesetsu: Let Thoughts Ride on Knowledge--soundtrack perfection, epic, sweeping.

    Over the Rhine: Ohio--indulgent art pop

    U2: What ever I listened to last

    Radiohead: OK Computer

    Wilco: YHF

    that about covers it

  8. -->Savage Garden- Affirmation
    -->Red Hot Chili Peppers- Californication (I don't think there is a single song in there that I dislike, or even am neutral about)
    -->Reel Big Fish- Cheer Up!
    The Postal Service- Give up
    -->Jeff Buckley- Grace
    -->Jewel- Pieces of you
    -->Ben Folds- Rockin' the Suburbs(Especially the Luckiest, I think I could listen to that song forever)

    I feel like the list is a bit much, but if you think of it in conjunction to all the other albums in the world it isn't all too extravagant. Although I feel if you asked for songs and not Albums my answers would be almost radically different

  9. Ugh, too hard to think and pick!!!!

    In the interest of saying one I don't think anyone else will say, and the first one that pops into my head, I'll say, I can't live without The Divine Comedy (Neil Hannon) - glorious!!

    "Regeneration" being my sentimental favorite of theirs.
