I'm Still Here

Yes it's true. I have not vanished from the face of the planet (does the planet have a face?) and the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated (I'm just a little bit dead).

In all honesty, I have just been really busy: Miley gigs, recording sessions, bingo night at the Eagles' Club... You know how it is. And the sloppy, cyanide-filled icing on the cake is I recently acquired a cold. I realize that I got a bit of a reputation as Mr. Sick Face last year (while sloshing in the petrie dish we call a "tour bus"), but this year, I haven't gotten sick since the end of said tour in February. So let's look at it like "celebrating eight months sober...from viruses."

But I assure you, the tap has not dried up (okay that sounds a little gross segueing from virus talk). New blog entries coming your way shortly. Find something to hold on to. We'll pull through this together.

  1. I hear you out, man. I was Ms. Sick Face last year for my first year back at university. I had a cold or flu about 2 weeks out of every 4, until Easter when I made a pact with myself to take my vitamins EVERY morning, and I haven't been ill since. Except for after just returning from 10 days in Scotland, I brought with me the flu - and my 2nd year begins on Monday. Guess who is already behind on her work? Hope you're better soon. Go easy on the bingo.

  5. Hey Mike, thought this was so cute. I was at the shops today, doing what a female does best, flogging the credit card, walking around in circles, getting lost then forgetting where the car was parked. Anyway in aussie Target, I look up and across 9 huge plasma screens there you were, larger than life, smiling and singing along with Candice.
    Ooh-La-La Big International Superstar!
So I hope you're feeling healthier now. Have a happy and safe trip to the UK and as always the readers look forward to hearing about your adventures when you return. Take Care. <3 S

  10. You're sick on tour buses because dancers and band members don't know how to live on buses. The dncers in Janet were shocked (and I mean, shocked!) that we kept our buses at 68F or colder. That's how you prevent viruses from spreading.

Let that be a lesson to you! =)

Thanks for the welcome home. Now I want to leave again.
